PROUDLY CANADIAN
The South Okanagan Artists FCA-SOS chapter has over 80 members who are professional and emerging artists from Summerland and Penticton and through the South Okanagan-Similkameen. This local chapter has been active for nearly 25 years with many members practicing their art, making sales, receiving recognition/ awards for over 50 years across Canada and around the world. The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA)is the largest national art organization with over 2800 members. It was started by professionals and some members of “The Group of Seven”. Our chapter is one of 13 across the country.
Our Annual juried show, that we are presenting here today, in Summerland for the second year, is called “Proudly Canadian”.
