Artists Statement: Layers of Intuition and Memory
My work explores intuition, symbolism and the layered language of materials. Through paint, texture, collage and fragments of text, I build surfaces where meaning slowly emerges and shifts over time.
My paintings evolve through an intuitive process of layering. Symbols and marks emerge, disappear and reappear within the surface; reflecting memory, language and personal narrative. Each piece becomes a record of discovery shaped by both instinct and material.
