Although I have experimented with pen and ink, pencil crayon and conte, my preferred medium is acrylic. My source material in the early years was often National Geographic; I would flip through old issues until an image grabbed me. My style is careful and detailed.

Since moving to the Okanagan in 2009, I paint from my own photographs. The light and the ever-changing sky over Okanagan Lake fascinate me, although I also paint from my travel photographs.
