Artist Statement:
To me, visual art is a response -to what is seen, imagined, and felt. I'm interested in how forms, spaces, and contrasts can suggest something without trying pictorially to replicate it. My work is invented, but I want the pictures to feel familiar enough to invite recognition while leaving room for something less certain.
